I will be giving more details later, but for now, I want to warn people about Moose Mountain Hot Tubs. This is a company that took my order, promising to deliver by Sept 22nd. They were notified that after the 26th, I was not going to be able to get the hot tub in the house I was building. The owner, Darren, assured me that he would have it delivered by the 22nd of September.

As I write this, on October 20th, my tub has still not arrived despite on numerous occasions being promised it would be coming by some near future date. Most recently, at 9:00pm on a Friday, the owner - Darren, told me he was trying to arrange to have his delivery crew deliver it to me on Saturday or Sunday. We then agreed, that delivery on Monday or Tuesday.

I today (Tuesday) talked with one of the staff and they told me that the tub can't be delivered because they are waiting for a part. This of course means that the owner has been lying to me.

As it stands, I have told him (left a message on his answering machine) that I want my money refunded. If/when I am refunded, I will update this page. I may also put further details/updates on this page.

But for now - if you are contemplating buying a hot tub from Moose Mountain Hot tubs, don't be fooled by their web site - moosemountainhottubs.com, they are in my opinion, not a trustworthy organization. Also - they have been featured on the news as dishonest and the BBB rates them as an F. I wish I had checked that out before I bought. Unfortunately, 22 years in business does not equate to a reputable company.
